APEX FOR KIDS - CHILDREN'S CONCERT!

Every year the Symphony welcomes busloads of students to the Performing Arts Center for a concert program designed especially for them. Make your reservations early to ensure you get in on the fun!

Award-winning storyteller Zette Harbour will narrate the classic tale of Peter and the Wolf as Maestro Nowak and the orchestra musically present the characters of Peter, the cat, the duck, the bird and...the WOLF! But that's not all! Delightful, educational stories and musical surprises await you and your class at this unique concert that sells out every year.

 Garners 3 Prestigious Awards
Winning the awards is a rare honor bestowed on only a few, select storytellers. "When I see the bright, delighted faces of my listeners, I feel such joy.  I’m thrilled that these acclaimed awards can help me bring joy to many more people," said Zette.

 Parents'  Choice Recommended Award for Story Harbour vol. 1.  Parents' Choice reviews new children's and parenting products every year and bestows recognition to the products that are mostly likely to "help kids grow- imaginatively, physically, morally and mentally," that are also fun and socially relevant.  It’s a high honor to be chosen.
 
Story Harbour vol. 1 also won the celebrated National Parenting Publications Honors Award.  NAPPA reviews and judges hundreds of children's products and parenting resources every year and awards the best products for their excellence with the NAPPA seal of approval.  Their independent expert judges evaluate hundreds of submissions for their innovation, entertainment and educational values and quality.  It’s a small and laudable group that win.

Creative Child Magazine Awards Program has honored the CD with its 2011 Preferred Choice Award.  Their independent reviewers are a group comprised of parents, teachers, and professionals.  Creative Child Magazine is a national consumer magazine that provides parents with information on how to nurture creativity in their children.

MORRO BAY HARBOR FESTIVAL
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 1
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 2
10 AM - 6 PM

Award-winning storyteller, Zette Harbour is a featured performer at the Morro Bay Harbor Festival on Saturday and Sunday, October 1 & 2 between 10am to 6pm.

Zette will perform stories, host games, and give away prizes from the Starboard Stage and Story Harbour booth.

All ages are encouraged to join in. Tickets for the Festival are $8 a day or $12 for both days, children under 12 are free when accompanied by an adult.
